Can you believe that Facebook went public in 2012? That was over 12 years ago. I remember when it IPO’d, and that seems like yesterday!

At the time, all the Internet marketers were trying to figure out how to ‘game’ the ad platform because Adwords was canning accounts left and right, and Facebook was cheap AF.

In the last 12 years, Facebook has been an excellent channel for advertisers and has introduced tons of innovation. But starting a few years ago, it was hit or miss.

It used to be GREAT!  But now – eh.

FB is excellent for quickly building audiences of potential buyers using video…

Even then, between privacy concerns and approval processes in specific niches, if you screw up even once, they’ll shut down your account…

And then your data is gone!

Not to mention, with ad inventory slowing (based on investor calls) and the new ad locations they’re spinning up are ho-hum, FB isn’t the darling it used to be…
